Officials in the Hudson Valley are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a missing teenager who hasn’t been seen in several months.
The New York State Office of Public Safety issued an alert this week regarding 16-year-old Samiyah Spencer, who was last seen on Jan. 8 in Croton.
According to officials, at the time she was last seen, Spencer was wearing a dark gray one-piece pajama set with a red and white heart pattern, with black sneakers that had pink and white accents. She is known to wear her hair in two tight woven braids and to frequent Brooklyn and Harlem.
Spencer may also use the names “Miyah Spencer, Miyah Nicole or Miyah Edwards,” officials noted.
Anyone with information regarding Spencer’s whereabouts, or who has information regarding the case has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators in Cortlandt by calling (914) 737-7171 or emailing the Missing Persons Clearinghouse by emailing missingpersons@dcjs.ny.gov.
